Raw Snickers Slice




Our favourite Raw Snickers Slice recipe, by far the most delicious. ⠀

Refined sugar-free. Just nuts, dates, natural sweeteners and peanut butter 😄⠀

A good way to "treat" yourself without ruining the diet - got us through many sugar crazy hangry moments! ⠀


For the base⠀

1/2 cup gluten-free rolled oats⠀
1/2 cup cashews⠀
1/2 cup almonds⠀
1/2 cup shredded coconut⠀
1/4 cup brown rice syrup
2 tbsp peanut butter
pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt⠀

For the peanut butter caramel⠀

1 cup pitted Medjool dates, soaked in hot water for 30 minutes (we use normal dates sometimes as medjool can be expensive- just soak them longer/blend harder)⠀
1 tbsp peanut butter⠀
1/2 tbsp brown rice syrup⠀
pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt⠀
1/2 cup shelled peanuts⠀

For the chocolate⠀

2 Tbps Noode vanilla protein
1/4 cup coconut oil⠀
6 tbsp raw cacao powder⠀
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp peanut butter⠀


For the base⠀

In a food processor, process the oats, cashews, almonds, coconut, and salt until all ingredients are broken down into a flour-like consistency.⠀
Add in brown rice syrup and peanut butter and process until a sticky ball of dough forms.⠀
Press base down evenly in a loaf pan or slice tin lined with non-stick parchment paper.⠀
Place in the freezer to set.⠀

For the peanut butter caramel⠀

Drain the dates.⠀
Process dates, peanut butter, brown rice syrup, vanilla, and salt in a food processor until smooth.⠀
Spread caramel over the base and sprinkle peanuts on top of the caramel.⠀
Lightly press peanuts into the caramel and place back in the freezer.⠀

For the chocolate⠀
Heat coconut oil in a saucepan over low heat until completely melted.⠀
Add in cacao powder and maple syrup and whisk together until fully mixed.⠀
Pour chocolate evenly on top of the caramel.⠀
Drizzle with peanut butter and swirl it through the chocolate with a spoon.⠀
Place back in the freezer for at least 2 hours.⠀
Remove from the freezer and let thaw for 30 minutes before cutting into slices.⠀
Eat within 20-30 minutes after removing from the freezer!
